The Kayaking Adventures will leave from 1 Mile or Amity depending on tides. You will have 1 or 2 Tour Guides for the Adventure. Opportunity to see Turtles, Stingrays, Birds and other sea creatures and wildlife.

The Kayaking Kulcha Experience will leave from 1 Mile or Amity depending on tides. You will have 2 Tour Guides for the Kulcha Experience. Opportunity to see Turtles, Stingrays, Birds and other sea creatures and wildlife as well as a hand spear & taste testing traditional foods. The Aboriginal Traditional Owners of "Quandamooka" will guide you on this Kayaking Experience.

Our Kayaking Kulcha Adventure Experience will Travel from Amity south to 1 Mile or 1 Mile to Amity, depending on the weather. You will have 2 Tour Guides for the Adventure Kulcha Experience and a boat supporting. Opportunity to see Turtles, Stingrays, Birds, Dugong and other sea creatures and wildlife as well as a hand spear & taste testing traditional foods. The Aboriginal Traditional Owners of "Quandamooka" will guide you on this Kayaking Experience.

Brown Lake is approximately 3.5 km in an Easterly direction from Dunwich via Alfred Martin Way. The Lake is a perched lake containing tannin-stained water from the leaves of surrounding paperbarks and tea trees, as well as the organic matter on its floor. The Quandamooka people’s story for this lake may differ from family to family as not one story is wrong each story belongs to their family. Our family story is that Brown Lake is a ‘Woman’s Lake’ as there is a location where the Aboriginal Women would go there to give birth. The old woman while walking down the hill from the western side would call out in language to the spirits as they entered the Lakes surroundings to give acknowledgement & respect. We’re also told about the Bunyup as well that belonged to the lake. A method used to teach the young ones to have respect for areas and the things in the area and this is still applied now days.
