Amity Point: a small, seaside fishing village where dolphins and pelicans
are regular visitors. We kayak through sheltered waters,
teeming with tropical fish, along rock walls and into the
mangroves.
Brown Lake: tea tree stains the water, giving this calm, freshwater lake
its name. The surrounding bush is home to many animals
and wildflowers. Ideal for younger students.
Key Holes: A
series of freshwater lakes and lagoons that run parallel to
Main Beach behind the sand dunes. The Key Holes attract a
myriad of wild life including wallabies and many varieties
of birds.
Point Lookout: Our favourite spot for a play in the surf is Cylinder Beach.
Students learn to kayak out through the surf and then ride
the waves back into the beach.
