Sea Kayaking - Adventure
Our most popular sea kayaking tour hits the water at Cylinder Beach, Point Lookout on beautiful North Stradbroke Island. Our two-person kayaks are very stable - the kind you sit on, not in.  After an instruction session on the beach, it's time to paddle out through the surf and explore the waters off Straddie.

Sea Kayaking - Training We stop at Shag Rock for a snorkel around this off shore rock formation  - a great way to see some of Straddie's incredible marine life. Climb back into your kayak and paddle back towards the beach. Finish the tour with a play in the surf - catch a wave for a thrilling ride. Naturally, our tours depend on weather and ocean conditions. At times, we may choose alternate destinations from Point Lookout: Manta Bommie - named after the magnificent Manta Rays that visit these waters in summer.

Sea Kayaking - Tandem Style

Whale Rock - water whistles through its blowhole, sounding just like a spouting whale.

The Cathedrals - a cave system in the headlands of Point Lookout

If ocean conditions are unsuitable, we may run a tour from Amity Point, a small seaside fishing village, popular for fishing, swimming and snorkelling. The pelicans here a friendly and dolphins often play just offshore.
